Waze is a digital mapping service that uses real-time data from its users. Like Google Maps, Waze can provide the best route by showing options for the fastest roads, traffic jams, accidents, and even the location of police presence.
Prior to being acquired by Google in 2013, Waze was founded in 2008 in Israel by entrepreneurs from Tel Aviv, Uri Levine, Ehud Shabtai, and Amir Shunar. Waze is popular in Indonesia because it is considered more accurate than Google Maps.
Furthermore, users can share information about each road they pass through. In 2013, Google successfully acquired Waze for US$966 million or around IDR 15.3 trillion today. In this acquisition, Google beat Facebook, Apple, and Nokia.

Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries is a multinational company based in Petah Tikva, Israel. The company produces various pharmaceutical products and is currently the world’s largest producer of generic drugs. In Indonesia, the company that is part of Teva is PT Actavis Indonesia.
