Jakarta – Vice Presidential candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited the alleys in the Warakas District, North Jakarta. Throughout the journey, shouts of support for the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran candidate pair continued to be heard.

Gibran explored four alleys. He got out of the vehicle in front of gang 16, RT 07 RW 13. The mothers immediately vied to take photos with Gibran.

Gibran had a dialogue with party supporters and volunteers who were conducting free health checks in gang 16 at the same time.

At that place, suddenly a man took a megaphone and invited residents to pray for the success of Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 Presidential Election. Gibran was seen thanking the prayers and support of the residents. He then continued his journey through the alleys.

Gibran distributed books and milk to the mothers. The enthusiasm of the residents welcoming Gibran was unstoppable. Gibran’s journey was momentarily stopped because there were so many residents asking to take pictures with him.

Gibran then entered a narrow alley, about 1 meter in size. In the middle of the alley, the residents had prepared coffee, tea, and boiled cassava to drink with Gibran.

About 10 minutes Gibran sat and chatted with the residents. Without a megaphone. Everything went naturally. Gibran couldn’t sit longer because he knew there were many residents waiting for him at every corner of the alley.

“This is just a meeting and getting together with the residents. Earlier there was also a free health check,” Gibran told reporters on Tuesday (16/1/2024).

Mitha, a resident of Sungai Bambu, Tanjung Priok, admitted that she deliberately came to Warakas because she wanted to see Gibran in person. She also followed the free health check for her 2-year-old child who suffered from stunting.

Mitha hoped to be able to convey her aspirations to Gibran. “My child is stunted. He wants to eat but his weight and height do not increase,” said Mitha.

While wiping her eyes, Mitha recounted her first child, who was 4 years old, also suffered from stunting. She bore the burden alone. Her husband left without saying where he was going.

“I hope to get help from the government. My child has to drink special milk that is expensive,” said Mitha.

Mitha admitted to supporting Prabowo-Gibran. She hopes that the stunting treatment program that has been raised by Prabowo-Gibran can really be realized.

“I support the stunting eradication program so that people with stunting problems can get assistance,” she said. (SENOPATI)
