Jakarta – Candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, invites the public to monitor the 2024 election process. He said it needed to be done to anticipate potential fraud.
“So keep watch, come to the polling station, vote, and please wait for and supervise,” said Prabowo when receiving a declaration of support from the Bakti Untuk Rakyat Community at his residence in South Jakarta, Monday (29/1).
In front of hundreds of residents, Prabowo is optimistic that the candidate number 2 will win the election in one round, seeing the survey results presented by several institutions. However, Prabowo reminded the public not to be complacent.
“Everyone must come to the polling station. Don’t be lazy, go to the polling station. Don’t feel like ‘oh we’ve won’, then we don’t come, don’t. That is what certain parties want,” said Prabowo.
“Come to the polling station, vote, check the ballots. Don’t say later that the ballots are damaged, because there are attempts to damage the ballots that choose 02,” he added.
On that occasion, Prabowo also asked the public to encourage their environment to vote for candidate number 2 because they have noble intentions to make Indonesia a powerful country.
“After that (voting), I still need your support, because we have to work hard,” Prabowo explained.
“We have to work hard because our task is noble, our ideals are noble, we want to eradicate poverty from the land of Indonesia,” he continued.
Meanwhile, hundreds of representatives from the Bakti Untuk Rakyat Community expressed their support directly to Prabowo in the ‘Bakti Untuk Rakyat #BersamaBapak’ agenda. As of now, Bakti Untuk Rakyat has 500,000 members throughout Indonesia. (SENOPATI)
