Prabowo’s visit not only symbolizes a new phase in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Before leaving Jakarta, Prabowo expressed pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a great honor for Indonesia. Highlighting the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, he emphasized the strong ties between the two nations. The visit also includes planned meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
