Candra Irawan, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of Bengkulu University, recently participated in a Panel Discussion with Indonesian President Prabowo and Rectors and Leaders of State and Private Universities at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. He was impressed by the President’s insights on Indonesia’s abundant natural resources that are currently underutilized. During the lengthy discussion, Prabowo emphasized the potential of resources such as nickel, bauxite, and minerals to empower the Indonesian people under his leadership.
A key highlight for Candra was Prabowo’s focus on implementing budget-saving measures across ministries and institutions. This strategic move is expected to generate significant savings and steer the country towards a more promising future. Through the reduction of leaks in the state budget and the optimization of operations, Prabowo aims to allocate resources towards enhancing infrastructure and advancing progress in Indonesia. Candra expressed optimism about the positive outcomes expected from these initiatives under the Prabowo administration, believing they will contribute to a more prosperous and optimistic Indonesia.
