Prabowo Visits Jokowi: Updates on CEPA and Diplomatic Tour

Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Prabowo’s visit was warmly welcomed by Jokowi and First Lady Iriana, resulting in a cordial and relaxed discussion on current issues and highlights from his 15-day diplomatic tour.

Expressing gratitude for the positive results from his international engagements, Prabowo mentioned his visit to Belarus, emphasizing the mutual trade opportunities between Indonesia and the country. He underlined Indonesia’s stance of neutrality and peaceful cooperation on the global stage, showcasing the nation’s commitment to non-alignment and friendly relations with all countries. Prabowo highlighted Indonesia’s application to join the OECD as a testament to its acceptance and respect from various sides, ensuring that the country is welcomed globally due to its non-interference in other nations’ domestic affairs.

Accompanying Prabowo in the meeting were State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo. The gathering reflected Indonesia’s diplomatic efforts to strengthen international ties while upholding its principles of neutrality and cooperation.
