President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, participated in the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) held at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, showcased various innovative research products.
During the convention, President Prabowo visited exhibition booths, including the “Flagship Research Products” booth from Padjadjaran University. The booth highlighted groundbreaking innovations like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses, among other research-based technologies.
In his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, President Prabowo expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, and other distinguished guests. The theme of KSTI 2025, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” aims to drive national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovation, supporting the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
The convention showcased exhibitions from eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing, as part of the government’s strategy for long-term economic development. This event emphasizes the importance of research and innovation in shaping Indonesia’s future.
