The President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, visited the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, the event showcased various innovative technologies and research projects. President Prabowo explored exhibition booths, including Padjadjaran University’s “Flagship Research Products” booth featuring VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses. Addressing the attendees in Sabuga Hall, Prabowo emphasized the importance of science and technology in driving economic growth and equity. With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 serves as a catalyst for Indonesia’s economic transformation through research and innovation. The convention highlights national priority sectors such as energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. The event is part of the government’s strategy to pave the way for Golden Indonesia 2045, aiming to strengthen the nation’s foundation for the future.
